Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of adminkit.net, the free AdminKit tools, the AdminKit API and MCP server, and any other AdminKit service. By using any of them you accept these terms, the Privacy Policy, the Disclaimer and the Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use AdminKit.

1. Agreement

AdminKit is a brand of Netbase Enterprise Solutions and Applications Joint Stock Company (Netbase JSC) (“Netbase”, “we”, “us”), enterprise and tax code 0105951482, registered office No. 18, Lane 445/46 Lac Long Quan, Xuan La Ward, Tay Ho District, Hanoi, Vietnam. These terms are a binding agreement between Netbase and you. If you use AdminKit for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it, and “you” includes that organisation.

The Privacy Policy, Disclaimer and Acceptable Use Policy published under /legal/ form part of these terms. A paid order, statement of work or enterprise agreement signed with Netbase prevails over these terms for the services it covers, to the extent they conflict.

2. The services

AdminKit (“the services”) currently includes:

  • Free tools on adminkit.net that need no account (for example what-is-my-IP, DNS and MX lookup, SPF/DMARC/DKIM checks, whois/RDAP, subnet calculator);
  • Preview APIs and documentation (OpenAPI description, MCP server documentation), which may be incomplete, change without notice or be unavailable;
  • Early-access products described on the site (Protective DNS, MCP and Agent Gateway, Agent Trust API, Secure Broker, OT Remote Access), which are not generally available until we say so in writing;
  • Expert services, provided only under a separate written order or statement of work.

We may add, change, limit or withdraw any part of the services at any time, including free features, without liability to you.

3. Who may use AdminKit

You must be at least 16 years old and have legal capacity to enter into this agreement. You must not use AdminKit if you are barred from receiving such services under the laws that apply to you, including sanctions and export-control laws, or if we have previously suspended you.

4. Targets you may check

Passive lookups of public information (DNS records, published mail-authentication records, registry data) may be run on any domain. Active checks — such as port checks, banner or protocol probes (MQTT, Modbus, RTSP, MCP), TLS or HTTP probes beyond a normal page request — may only be run on:

  • the IP address your own request comes from, after you confirm on screen that you manage that network; or
  • assets you have verified as yours in AdminKit (DNS TXT, file or other method we offer); or
  • assets you are expressly authorised in writing to test by their owner.

You are solely responsible for having that authorisation. AdminKit may refuse, limit or hide results of any check, for example when an IP address is shared (CGNAT, mobile carriers) and results could concern another person.

5. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In short: do not use AdminKit to attack, scan or profile systems you do not own or have permission to test, do not overload or circumvent our limits, and do not break the law.

6. Accounts and API keys

Public sign-up is not open yet. When accounts or API keys are issued to you, you must keep credentials secret, are responsible for all activity under them, and must tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect misuse. We may revoke keys that are exposed, abused or unused.

7. Free tier, limits and changes

Free tools and free API quotas are provided without charge and without any service level. We apply rate limits, quotas and abuse controls and may change them at any time. Automated use of the website (rather than the API) is not permitted beyond normal browsing.

9. Intellectual property

The services, the website, software, content, data compilations, designs and the AdminKit name and logo belong to Netbase or its licensors. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the services for your own internal purposes. You may share individual results (for example a report link) with people who help you fix the issue.

Components we publish as open source (for example the public MCP server or integrations) are governed by their own licence files, which prevail for that code. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

10. Third-party services and data

Results depend on third-party systems and data: public DNS resolvers, domain registries (RDAP), blocklist operators, Cloudflare, mailbox providers, and the networks between them. We do not control them and are not responsible for their accuracy, availability or policies. Names of other companies and products are trademarks of their owners; mentioning them does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

11. Nature of results

All results, scores, explanations, guides and recommendations are general information for your own assessment. They are not a security audit, penetration test, certification, legal or compliance advice, and they do not guarantee that any system is safe. See the Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

12. No warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the services and all content and results are provided “as is” and “as available”, with all faults and without warranty of any kind, express, implied or statutory, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, security, or that the services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Netbase, its affiliates and their directors, employees, contractors and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or for downtime, security incidents, blocklisting, email non-delivery, regulatory fines or the cost of substitute services, arising out of or relating to the services, any result or content, or these terms, however caused and on any theory of liability, even if advised of the possibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the services or these terms is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to Netbase for the service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the event, and (b) fifty US dollars (USD 50). For free use, our total liability is limited to USD 50.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law. Where the law does not allow an exclusion or limitation, it applies to the fullest extent allowed.

14. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Netbase and its affiliates, directors, employees and contractors from any claim, loss, damage, fine, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the services, any check you run, your breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, limit or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you breached these terms, created risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we discontinue the service. You may stop using AdminKit at any time. Sections 9 to 18 survive termination.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version and effective date are shown at the top of this page. Material changes for account holders will be announced by email or in the product at least 14 days before they apply, except where a change is required by law or to address abuse or security. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or the services shall be finally resolved by arbitration at the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) under its Rules of Arbitration, by one arbitrator, seated in Hanoi, conducted in English. Before starting arbitration, a party must notify the other in writing and the parties will try in good faith to settle within 30 days.

Either party may seek urgent interim relief from a competent court. If you are a consumer, nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules or the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence where the law gives you that right.

18. General

  • Entire agreement. These terms and the documents they refer to are the entire agreement about their subject and replace earlier understandings.
  • Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it is limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains in effect.
  • No waiver. Failing to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these terms without our written consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of networks, cloud providers, registries or power, attacks, and acts of authorities.
  • Notices. We may give notice by email, in the product or on this site. You must send notices to [email protected].
  • Language. These terms are written in English. Any translation is for convenience; the English version prevails.
