- Device, call and seat counts above are the current plan design and may change before general availability.
- No credit card or account sign-up is required to use the free tools or to talk to us about a plan.
- A payment method for paid plans (subscription billing) is not live yet; early-access customers are onboarded directly by email before anything is charged.
- Plan contents are reviewed from time to time; existing early-access customers are told before any change that affects them takes effect.
Frequently asked questions
Is AdminKit really free?
Yes. The public tools under /tools/ (what is my IP, DNS/MX lookup, blacklist check and the rest) are free today, no account needed. The Free plan above also includes a starter amount of Protective DNS and MCP gateway usage.
How much do Builder, Business and MSP/Hosting plans cost?
We have not published prices for these plans yet. Talk to us and we will work out early-access pricing that fits what you are running — devices, MCP gateways or both.
Do I need a credit card to try AdminKit?
No. The free tools and the Free plan need no credit card and no account. Paid plans are set up directly with our team, not through a self-serve checkout.
What counts as an "L1 device"?
An L1 device is anything sending DNS queries through AdminKit Protective DNS — a laptop, phone, IoT device or a whole office behind one resolver, counted per device.
What's the difference between Builder and Business?
Builder is sized for one or two MCP servers or AI agents going into production (3 MCP gateways, the Agent Trust API, a live badge, a GitHub Action). Business is sized for a larger device fleet and a small team (500 L1 devices, a secure MQTT broker, a year of log retention, 5 seats).
Can I start on Free and move to a paid plan later?
Yes. Start on the Free plan with no commitment, then talk to us whenever your device count, MCP call volume or team size outgrows it.
Is there a sign-up or account system today?
Not yet — member sign-up and a dashboard are planned but not built. Talk to us and we will set your plan up directly while that ships.
How will I pay once pricing is published?
We have not finalized a payment method yet. Early-access customers are invoiced directly, and we will tell you in advance before any payment method or price change takes effect.
